Recently, I was gifted a lovely book on Ikebana and though there are several Ikebana books in my gardening and floral library, this gem of a book is different. It is a vintage primer with concise directions on how to arrange Moribana, Heika and Seika style arrangements. There are 14 or so arrangement lessons, clearly laid out with information at the outset regarding flora scale and measuring. No other book I have is so transparent about dimensions of plant material and this information is extremely helpful. I have decided to do each lesson and document them here.
